The statue was previously stolen, or destroyed. In 2011 and 2012, a survey was prepared and photo documentation collected; based on this substrate it was possible to create a detailed copy of the statue. The replica was constructed by​​ Mgr. art. John Fečo in 2012-13.

Today the statue is exhibited in its original location.
