Restoration work on the precious Baroque frescoes of chapel 4,which were damaged by wet walls, began in 2005.

Plaster was cracked and in many places the original frescoes had harmful cement seals. Before and during the restoration it was necessary to carry out urgent restoration work-fixing flaking originals, removing the cement seals and fixing the edges of originals as well as the overall renewal of a historical chapel space – drainage under the pavement in the interior, repair of the bars and front door,repair of stone spiral stairs to the tower.
