Courtyard behind the Lower Church was devastated and there was a leakage into the interior walls with baroque frescoes. It was necessary to implement a system of drainage, as well as stabilisation of foundations of central chapel from the back. Part of the project involved repair of the stone retaining wall behind the church, reconstruction of stonesteps from the courtyard garden and reconstruction of sanitary facilities in the supporting wall of the Lower Church.
