We are pleased to announce that on July 29, 2016, we, after several months of intense work, could inaugurate the new Visitor center Calvary. The opening was attended by representatives of the general sponsor – VUB Foundation, Mrs. Magda Vášáryová – the first sponsor of one of the chapels, town representatives, parish priest of Banská Å tiavnica and the public.
Build of the visitors‘ center was important in order to meet the needs of still increasing number of the visitors of the Calvary. In 2015 it was about 50,000 and in 2016 this number is going to be increased again.
The center includes museum, projection room, souvenir shop, toilets, restaurant and parking.

It is located on the access road towards the first chapel. You are cordially invited.
