The reconstruction of the roof of the Lower church

The reconstruction of the roof of the Lower church

Roof on the Lower Church – the three towers – have been damaged over time. Rack roof trusses were damaged and required carpentry repair or exchange.

In accordance with the original Baroque concept the roof was returned to its original state (as identified by historical research), with the front facade surmounted by a Baroque attic (in this case the stone ledgeat the top), which was covered with a roof and originallyc ontained stone statues of saints and oblelisks.

In addition, we repaired over 150 holes on other buildings, caused primarily by vegetation.
